Candy Toy Pillow
A Knitting Pattern by Liz Chandler @PurlsAndPixels
The Chunky Knit Candy Pillow PDF Pattern makes it easy to knit something thatโs soft, playful, and surprisingly polished for how simple it is. With just the knit stitch (thatโs it!), you can create a squishy pillow that looks like a giant piece of wrapped candy. It’s perfect for decorating, gifting, or cuddling.
This pattern guides you through one fun size: a plump, candy-shaped pillow. It is knit in the round, stuffed with fluff, and tied off at the ends to give it that sweet, wrapped-candy look. It is beginner-friendly, quick to knit, and makes a wonderful toy, accent pillow, or cheerful handmade gift. Think Halloween decor, Christmas decorations, or just a bit of holiday sweetness that adds charm to any space.
Grab your favorite super bulky yarn and a set of circular needles. Whether you are knitting at home, in class with kids, or curled up on the couch, this PDF keeps your project clear and simple without distractions.
This printable PDF is the same Candy Pillow pattern I share free on the blog. This version is ad-free, easy to print, and perfect for offline knitting, travel, or gifting.
Whether you are learning to knit or just want a happy, colorful project, these step-by-step instructions help you create with confidence and end up with a pillow that is as fun to make as it is to squish.

How Candy Toy Pillows are Made
These toys easy enough for all beginning knitters, so both adults and kids can give this kitting project a try. First, you’ll cast on. Then using onlyย knitย stitchesย to knit in the round (no turning your work), you will knit a long tube. Then, bind off, and stuff your toy. It’s a simple, fun knitting project with no pressure to be perfect.
Materials
I designed these Candy Toy Pillows using Wool Ease Thick & Quick by Lion Brand Yarn, color โHudson Bayโ. But any super bulky (No. 6) weight yarn should substitute beautifully in this pattern.
Skills
This is a beginner knitting skill level pattern that requires a general understanding ofย casting on, knitting in the round,ย the knit stitch, binding off, andย weaving in loose ends. If you are not familiar with these skills, find quick, free lessons in my Learn to Knit Guide.
